Star leads the herd

Hello, I’m Star, aka “Mustang Sally”.  I was removed from Colorado’s Spring Creek Basin Herd Management Area as a weanling, in 2005. I have been started under saddle by Scott Whinfrey at the 2010 and 2011 Four States Ag Expo.

Loping for Scott at the 2011 Ag Expo in March

My future as a saddle horse looks promising for an experienced rider or trainer who would finish me for a small person (I still buck some at the lope but I’m really trying. I did not buck at all on my last ride). I’m a beautiful mover, and a free spirit; yet you can halter me in the field and I am a very willing learner with good manners for farrier, trailer loading, vet care, etc.

At the end of a perfect day!
