I was rescued in December, 2010, from auction for slaughter. I was mishandled and had become savvy in distrusting humans. I was so traumatized I had become dangerous, ready to bite, ready to kick. Here at Fresh Start, I began my journey toward healing, from being a tagged animal sold by the pound, to an adorable mini-mustang. The first person able to touch me was 12-year-old Erin Ryan. I’m a beautiful mover and surprisingly athletic; I love to jump obstacles in the back 40 as I run at liberty with the herd. I’m curious and accepting of new people and things, and really, quite smart! I’ve gotten easy to catch and halter; you can brush me all over; I lead, tie, load, stand for the farrier.

Please consider sponsoring me, to help with my nutrition needs, veterinary care, and corrective hoof trims. Or better yet, adopt or foster me! I will become your pocket pony as you care for, train and love me.

Facts about me:

Young Bar-N (Navajo Nation) filly
Year born: 2010
Height at 2 years old: 13.1 hh and growing
I require: consistent handling, training, love and reassuring time spent with humans. I also require diligent attention to my hooves.

Adopt me for: A sweet pony to train for a child or small adult.
