In loving memory

Tinkerbell

After a month-long battle with a grievous injury to her hind leg, Tinkerbell crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 7, 2011. Everyone who knew her, loved her. We remember Tinkerbell with utmost gratitude for her affectionate personality, her empathy, her willingness to learn and to accept; and for all the lessons she taught us. Tinkerbell is greatly missed, and it is hoped the story of her brave battle to survive and to keep on being a horse despite all odds (Blog tag: “Tinkerbell”) will help or enlighten others.

Tinkerbell’s Profile

I will run across a field to meet you! I had spent my whole life, until I came to FSHR, in the very place where I was born, so it was a big shock to come here, with all the new sights. So many other horses!!

I am so willing to please, I will try anything. Even if I know you have to do something unpleasant, such as treat a wound, I will forget about my food when I see you coming. I want so badly to belong to a family of my own. I have had basic groundwork training, and will soon begin training under saddle.

Tucker, my love...He was adopted soon after arrival to FSHR...he left me here!
