Silly Wizard: One great gelding

Hey everybody! Spring is here and it’s time to get those colts and stallions gelded before they bust down the fence. As our vet always says, “A good stallion makes a great gelding.” Do it now, and get your rebate!

The Gelding Assistance Program for Southwest Colorado is in its seventh month and there are plenty of funds waiting to help you git ‘er done. The program reimburses residents of the five counties of southwest Colorado for gelding surgery.

THERE ARE NO FORMS TO FILL OUT. NO INCOME LIMIT TO QUALIFY.

All you have to do is have your stallion(s) gelded by a licensed veterinarian and then send a copy of the itemized receipt showing surgery charge to:

There is no limit on the number of horses, either. If you’ve gelded a horse since Sept. 1, 2010 and haven’t received a rebate, it’s not too late! Just dig out your receipt and send it in.
