Clover

Clover, Sept. 2011

I am a 2007 grade mare with a kind demeanor, current on vaccinations, dental, deworming.  Everyone who meets me loves my sweet disposition and says that I will be a great children’s horse some day, because of my personality and my height, 13 hh.  I was started under saddle this year and am easy to teach. Even when distracted, I remain tuned into my trainer.  I trailer well, and accept farrier care, and LOVE being groomed. I have learned to adapt to many different situations.

Rescued: April, 2011

I arrived at Fresh Start April 6, 2011 with a foal at my side.  We had endured the trauma and fear of the auction ring, where we were rescued from danger of slaughter by an Angel. We were weak and malnourished, but after a couple of months of vet care and proper nutrition we rallied, responding to the kindness of the humans with trust and willingness.  My foal, Princess, became robust and healthy, and she is also adoptable!

The next picture shows me on 9/28/11 being longed by 13 year old Erin, one of my trusted friends at FSHR.

Yes she is. We will be posting an update on the saddle training she received at last week’s Ag Expo today.
