Sis, newly arrived at Fresh Start

Hello, I’m Liberty. I’m a pregnant Quarter Horse mare, rescued from danger of slaughter on April 6, 2011. I was thin and weak, but I could tell things were about to change for me when I arrived at Fresh Start. I have a nasty wound on my left shoulder, which they began treating immediately, and I am being fed several times a day, which makes me feel lots better. I feel the little life inside me, and I hope that he or she will be healthy when it is time to arrive.
