So for their three-week updates, I thought I’d leave the blankets on to start. At and around Easter Sunday the April weather turned on us, as usual. I call April the cruelest month, because we all get excited for the warm weather and in a routine of working and playing with the horses; and the horses get all set for spring by way of shedding all their warm fur; then the WINTER COMES BACK!

Thus, they were wearing blankets on the morning of their 3-week anniversary, and isn’t Princess cute in hers?

That day, it was too warm to leave the blankets on, so off they came! Volunteers helped to pose Liberty in front of the feed shed for her “official” 3-week progress photos.
