1st Annual Navajo Taco /Silent Auction

When: Oct 1, 2011. Silent Auction will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A wide variety of items will be offered and you need not be present to win. The Navajo Taco Dinner will be $8.00 a plate and will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Calvin Denton Room, Empire Electric Building on Broadway in Cortez.
What: A presentation will be given at 5 p.m. and again at 7 p.m., featuring the story of the rescue horses Raven and Arroyo. Discover what Fresh Start Horse Rescue is about and why we do what we do. Learn how you can connect with wonderful horses and caring people through volunteerism, adoption, and sponsorship. The silent auction offers a wide range of items, catering to a variety of interests! You need not be present to win. The proceeds generated from this event will go toward horse rescue, veterinary care, feeding, rehabilitation and training costs.
