Thank you all who helped with fundraiser!

The October first Navajo Taco Dinner and Silent Auction fund-raiser was a success!  Fresh Start would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who donated items, as well as the talented people who made the event happen.

The Navajo Tacos were excellent and prepared by Trudy Erikson, who also contributed extra supplies and food not covered under the donations, with her helper Lorraine.  KKDC D’Crow helped with publicity by running an ad on the air as well as welcoming Terra White and Amanda Ryan into the studio for a live interview.  Pioneer Printing supplied colorful flyers to publicize the event.  Amy Violette gave a powerful and enjoyable presentation about Fresh Start Horse Rescue, what we do, and why we do it.

And make no mistake that none of this could have happened without Terra White, who spent many hours working on planning the event, publicity, and gathering donations, along with Amy Violette and Melissa Hackett, who complete our energetic and enterprising fund-raising committee!

Above all, thank you to all our friends who visited and took part in the dinner, silent auction, and attended the presentation. Without your participation, the event would not have succeeded.  With your help, we raised nearly $500 in funds that will be used to help with veterinary, feed, and farrier care of the Fresh Start horses.
