A Story of Giving

Our Supporters

Arroyo sports new duds that arrived in time for an April storm!

Fresh Start Horse Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving, rehabilitating and finding permanent loving homes for unwanted horses. The organization depends entirely on donations for all operation costs, and until New Frontier Media of Boulder, CO took an interest (and acted on it!) the lion’s share of these donations came directly from the resources of the family of the founders, a single-income family of four, depending on a carpenter’s income. That they survived the first three years is a miracle, and they could not have done it without the help of God, and those whom God provided: the people who believed in them, the few, the proud, the volunteers and donors!

The Ryans and all the horses at FSHR sincerely thank everyone who has believed in us and what we do, and on this page we wish to acknowledge and thank all of our supporters! You put the wind in our manes and the wings on our hooves.

This page is incomplete even in the current years, and being added to…the goal is to trace our supporters back to the roots. To the people who helped us get started, and without whom we would not be here today! They will end up at the top.
