Hello, I'm interested in learning more about Brandy. I am a trainer/rider running a private stables in summit county. We are on a 368 acre ranch, loads of trails, turnout, heated barn and indoor arena. How tall is this horse, does she have potential to be a good trail horse and kid safe in future, any vices or soundnss issues?

Thanks; I hope to hear from you soon.

The last thing we want is for him to be in pain. His willing nature and desire to please will cause him to do stuff for you even if he is in pain. And the second-to-last thing we want is for you to be unhappy with him.

From my observations, he appears to me to do better with one particular joint supplement over others. From what I have observed, I think it's possible he could do a beginner walk-trot 4-H class. He seems to loosen up and limp less when he is ridden and exercised lightly as opposed to standing around and stiffening up. That is just my impression. A whole 4-H year contains various types of activities and can get strenuous. Gymkhana, or entire days of riding at 4-H camp, or prolonged trotting in 4-H practice, are just some examples of things I would never dream of asking him to do. If you want to consider adopting him for 4-H, he would need a complete veterinary evaluation, as well as careful consideration of what you really want in a 4-H horse, before his suitability for that purpose could be reliably determined.
